Seline's journal pg 11

More furniture brought on board, Adaire had the ship hauled to the repair shop and some more engines installed. He isn't too wild about going in the air with it but even more nervous about any sudden landings...understandable. 3 engines broke and had to be replaced. So far this crate has cost us almost 10k platinum in repairs and furnishings. But it is getting to be rather comfortable. Jhinta got mugged in Menzo. Had to go speak with the thieves. Got all his stuff back but will have to talk with him again about the airship keys and how important it is not to lose them for him or any of the troops. Finally met this young one called Sirus. Brave little rascal if I do say. He was running around in rags and fighting with ferociousness the likes that remind me of some of my companions in Dragondale. Had to speak to him about changing his equipment especially since we have much better in our arms and equipment lockers. Will be talking to Jhinta about taking better care of his charges. Still no response from Odio or Suave...hope they are allright. Library is coming along well now, and so is our map collections Seems as If I will be having to do all the logs for the Ship unless I can get Jhinta to do some. Adaire may be good with the coin, but I really don't know how. His penmanship reminds me of the tracks of a hoard of ants. Totally illegible!!! Last time I saw a mess like that was when Phil gave me a perscription for the Apothacary...

Seline's journal pg 10

Spoke to Jhinta again, HE brought up the idea of forming a cadre to support me. (I never told him of my thoughts on the matter, so again Our Lady of Mysteries shows me signs). I told him about the airship and my needs to have help outfitting and operating it. He agreed to take on the responsibility of Captain of the Guard and gave me a fair sum of Platinum for improvements. What a mess, between junk being hauled all over, the sawdust constantly in the air, the mustiness from Jhinta's room and the "I don't even care to ask" from the room of that Wild Man Adaire (you would think he was born in a cave.) Thankfully the WeaveGatherer is basically just a large crystal with no moving parts or the plants and critters he has in his room would all get toasted and the ship would burn to the ground. I have commanded that windows be placed in all outside rooms, at least for the fresh air. At least Adaire loved that idea. Odio and Suave are constantly gone...when they return I will be asking them to fix their rooms. Jhinta advised me he has registered our Cadre under the name of Protectors of House deMystra (PoHM) and we have a new troop, another vampire by the name of Sirus who will be his second gunner. I am honored and yet embarrassed by his dedication and attentions but as long as it serves HER... I told him quite clearly that until I have discovered why she brought me here and what I am to do, I don't have time for personal relations, he said he understood and once again swore to stand by me until this job is done and longer... It is nice haveing a fellow Officer around..bah, no time for other.

After meeting and traveling a few days with Jhinta again, my opinion of him is improving even more. We met again at the Church - my home of operations for now, and after talking for a while he surprised me by swearing allegiance to Our Lady in MY service, this was totally unexpected. I take this as a sign from Her that she wishes me to form a Cadre' for this quest of hers...so be it. I took his oath of fealty and gave my Commander's Oath. Adaire has been proving very helpful. Discussed with him my plans. Although he isn't that interested in my goals, he did agree to become my Supply Officer. The relationship, in his words, has been mutually beneficial. I discussed with him a minor problem I had of too many mystical items to carry, which I need to safeguard, and he told me he had heard of an airship that was being sold. He would look into the price. We own a SPELLJAMMER!! Stormchaser class, Cloud Strike by name These things are HUGE inside. The manual says they fit 4 but with 17 rooms even if most of them are filled with the WeaveGatherers that propel this monstrosity, there is plenty of room for the Cadre' Met a couple of fellows who agreed to help me with the ship. Odio and Suave. They agreed and have moved on board.

Seline's journal pg 8

*This is a personal Journal of Seline deMystra, Commander-House of Mystra, Dragondale, Dalelands. If Found please give to the nearest Church of Mystra for return to Artur Oakheart Supreme Lord of Mysteries, House of Mystra, Dragondale.* Many things have occurred since last I had chance to put thought to word. With Mystra's help, I hope to at least bring this journal up to date. While praying at the church of Mystra between Westbridge and New Thalos, I met another who has chosen to follow Our Lady, a barbarian drow by birth, Vampire by affliction. Jhinta il'Sthan, Zha'nth d'il Na'mth Dal'ruk by name. Interesting fellow. The fire of Mystra burns within him as brightly as the curse he bears. Although he calls her by a different name as he describes her she is the same. We went to the Holy Supply shop in Candlekeep where he was graced with one of Her symbols While in Westbridge, a man of the woods, follower of Mielikki, Adaire Tallfellow saved me from purchasing some defective materials at an over-inflated price..Handsome fellow, rather earnest, but I sense a ...mystical binding of some sort on him...
