A conversation

Mirage walked into the Market Square, her eyes filled with a look of anger beyond words. Her arms crossed tight against her chest, her walk quick and brisk. She happened upon Angelica, Eleni and Lateralus, they were in conversation when she arrive d. Lateralus noticed Mirage rather quickly and said "What's wrong?" His inquisitive mannor made Mirage almost burst in anger and tears began to flow. Angelica noticing this asked her if she was thinking about what happened earlier with Seline. Mirage nodded, wiping her tears away from her cheeks and trying not to cry even more she said quietly "She tricked me, she stole the key from me..." Mirage looked off into the distance as she said these words... Seline walked through the Market Square.... Mirage watched her.... Narry a word. She burst out into an angry fit of words and emotion... " I must get that key back.... But I cannot do it alone." Eleni, questioning the importance of the retrieval of the key asked Mirage "I thou ght you would be glad to be rid of it, wasn't that the goal in the first place?" Mirage with a slight amount of hesitation in her voice turned to Eleni, a grave demeanor upon her face.... " It must be destroyed and I am the only one who can d o that, she took the key away from me after..." Mirage's words trailed off slightly.... Seline had again walked through the Market Square and again narry a word... Mirage started to speak again this time quieter and more reserved in her speech. "After I had sent it to her in desperation for help, she claims that she cannot allow it to be destroyed.... But she does not understand... That key was created from me inside o' me... I guard that key.." Mirage's anger showed throughas she continued "If that key is not destroyed people will die, not swiflty but slowly.... And there will be such an overthrow ion power like ye and I have ne'er seen." Eleni in her own beautiful inquisitive way asked "what does it matter who has power if we are all dead, we all die anyways? Besides, Seline is no longer protected by her entourage and does not have the friends you have" Mirage sighed and nodded, but added.. "That may be so.... But she has her magic... I may good with magic but not like her..... I cannot do this alone Eleni...." Eleni smiled and Lateralus grinned... Indeed she did have friends.
