Grecia Gaiannas - background history

Grecia is a slender man about 5 ft 8 in height and perhaps weighing 150 pounds soaking wet ,with dark-brown hair cut moderatly short. His Bright blue eyes twinkle at every new discovery. His pockets overflow with dried plants, many having readily known Medicinal value, and some rather unusual ones too. His right wrist have an unusual mark - it almost looks as if a number of Bright Red Roses are entwined about it with their buds in various stages of being open. When asked about the rose birthmark he will readily relate that this is a birthmark, supposedly a gift of appreciation to one of his ancestors in rememberence of some deed to an organization called .. Something of the rose. However, much time has passed, the group vanished into the pages of history, and his family - mother a retiring "Witchwoman" who could heal using herbs, and father a skilled hunter/provider have also. While he was growing up, his parents taught him what they could of herbology and a love of nature as well as some skill hunting. Unfortunately, for Grecia and his family, during his 16 year, while Grecia was out vending some of his mothers crop of herbs, strangers came and killed his parents, After looting all of apparent value, they left. When Grecia returned home. He buried his p arents, cleaned up the mess as best he could, gathered everything of value *his mothers herb books were left as being worthless* and struck off to find a new place to live and learn what he could of the attackers so he might, perhaps, someday find them and put them to rest too. Meanwhile, the question of his birthmark and what the story behind it is also one for him to discover...

a New Carpet

It were an early morning in the month of Eleint.Dark clouds were covering the Realms, and a giant Stormsummoned by the Stormlord Talos sent down its Lightningtorturing the lands of the Great Realms. It was that very same morning when Malar appeared to me, telling me what was going on. "Members of the Church of Nightmares have insulted the Lord of Storms! he said." Make them pay! And bring me proof!" He then disapeared in a pile of crawling maggots finding their way out of the room. I quickly assembled a team of strong Talosians, And we left our sacred Church to securely demolish every nightmare and leave them dead. But, of course, all of them fled into a hidden room in their church. So we went after them. After slaying the guards of their halls, which proved to be fairly easy, we entered their almost abandonned Church and stole some equipment from their personal shops. Somewhere deep within the disgusting church which seemed to be totally abandoned by any god, we heard them yell at us. We were, according to them, losers and we were weak and so on. After Kelin, Yota and I got up again from rolling over the floor laughing at them, e went to explore their hall since we were sure those wimpy nightmares wouldnt dare to come out of their hidden room. As i gave my fellow Destructors a grand tour through the abandonned clanhall, we found hidden passage leading to some sort of maze. Within a few moments we left the maze on the other side. We entered a room with in it a small chest. As i tried to pick the lock I suddenly realised the key of the clandoors might just fit in. And yes, I unlocked the chest and opened it. As we were all very curious what this big treasure were, we were kind of disappointed when all we found was a dirty flag. The CoN logo was drawn on both sides of the silk flag. But we needed to bring proof, so this would do, we thought. Back at the Shrine of Talos again I asked for an audience with Lord Malar again. As the maggots crawled back in the room and slowly shaped back into the shape of our Lord, I showed him the flag, on which he said: "Good, Good, We needed a new Carpet at our shrine anyway. Silk is good to wipe your feet clean on," as he grinned and continued: "Thats the only thing members of CoN are good for anyways." Malar spread the flag over the floor and wiped his feet on it. Then he disappeared again in the same way he came. And now we still have The CoN clan Flag lying like trash on the floor, as a new carpet. Reminding us of the damned wimpy members of the Church of Nightmares.

The Protectors of House deMystra

History (----------) A recently turned vampire, Jhinta il'Sthan, enters the shrine of Mystra, thinking to take a rest from his journies. Instead, he finds inside, a beautiful mage, in the service of the Lady of the Weave. This mage and Jhinta converse. Jhinta learns of the mage's mission, to bring the light of the Weave closer to her heart. He learns that her name is Seline deMystra, and that she hails from a far off land, in another realm. She, being new to these realms, would be needing a protector. Someone that could defend her honor and life. So Jhinta did what anyone with honor would do. He pledged himself defender of her cause before the Altar of Mystra. pledging his help and assistance, whenever and wherever she should need it. Before long, Jhinta learns of a spelljammer that is owned in part by his brother in all but blood, Adaire Tallwillow, and Seline, and is invited to buy into the venture. This, expanding the object of his defense, increased his need for a contingent of loyal and trustworthy men and women to aid him in the realization of his oath. Thus, The Protectors of House deMystra were born.

Note at Market Square left on fountain.

To all of you that I have come to know and love... next week I am going to have a get together at Nistyres tavern , just for the sake of being with friends and family. so please make yourself visible and come have a bite or a drink on me.

The Bringer of Carnage

I was spawned from the deepest pits of Hell with only one purpose, to to bring Carnage onto this world. I wish and desire only the blood of many by my blade. I have seen the destruction brought by the loyal followers of the almighty Talos. I will be able bring more Carnage onto this world under the guidence of lord Talos and CoD. I am still a young Demon. I could learn much from the teachings of destruction by members of CoD and under the guidence of Talos. In return I can offer only one thing... destruction to all!!! Carnage follows everywhere I go. I live to kill, I breathe only to bring death, and ... for my own selfish pleasures ... I make angels cry.

Seline's journal pg 11

More furniture brought on board, Adaire had the ship hauled to the repair shop and some more engines installed. He isn't too wild about going in the air with it but even more nervous about any sudden landings...understandable. 3 engines broke and had to be replaced. So far this crate has cost us almost 10k platinum in repairs and furnishings. But it is getting to be rather comfortable. Jhinta got mugged in Menzo. Had to go speak with the thieves. Got all his stuff back but will have to talk with him again about the airship keys and how important it is not to lose them for him or any of the troops. Finally met this young one called Sirus. Brave little rascal if I do say. He was running around in rags and fighting with ferociousness the likes that remind me of some of my companions in Dragondale. Had to speak to him about changing his equipment especially since we have much better in our arms and equipment lockers. Will be talking to Jhinta about taking better care of his charges. Still no response from Odio or Suave...hope they are allright. Library is coming along well now, and so is our map collections Seems as If I will be having to do all the logs for the Ship unless I can get Jhinta to do some. Adaire may be good with the coin, but I really don't know how. His penmanship reminds me of the tracks of a hoard of ants. Totally illegible!!! Last time I saw a mess like that was when Phil gave me a perscription for the Apothacary...

Seline's journal pg 10

Spoke to Jhinta again, HE brought up the idea of forming a cadre to support me. (I never told him of my thoughts on the matter, so again Our Lady of Mysteries shows me signs). I told him about the airship and my needs to have help outfitting and operating it. He agreed to take on the responsibility of Captain of the Guard and gave me a fair sum of Platinum for improvements. What a mess, between junk being hauled all over, the sawdust constantly in the air, the mustiness from Jhinta's room and the "I don't even care to ask" from the room of that Wild Man Adaire (you would think he was born in a cave.) Thankfully the WeaveGatherer is basically just a large crystal with no moving parts or the plants and critters he has in his room would all get toasted and the ship would burn to the ground. I have commanded that windows be placed in all outside rooms, at least for the fresh air. At least Adaire loved that idea. Odio and Suave are constantly gone...when they return I will be asking them to fix their rooms. Jhinta advised me he has registered our Cadre under the name of Protectors of House deMystra (PoHM) and we have a new troop, another vampire by the name of Sirus who will be his second gunner. I am honored and yet embarrassed by his dedication and attentions but as long as it serves HER... I told him quite clearly that until I have discovered why she brought me here and what I am to do, I don't have time for personal relations, he said he understood and once again swore to stand by me until this job is done and longer... It is nice haveing a fellow Officer around..bah, no time for other.
