The Test - Part Deux

Maneuvering the ship was easier than expected. She'd spent all of her flight hours with little to no assistance in terms of yaw, pitch and roll controls. The same also applied to throttle control where it was harder to raise and reduce speed. This ship had a nervous touch to the throttle but everything else was calibrated and assisted.

Placing the ship leveled with one of the main gates, she awaited final authorization to leave the hangar. The makou gas signal light went from red to green thus opening the gate. As they were three quarters open, she gently pushed the throttle lever forward exiting the hangar. With enough clearance on her starboard and port sides, she sent out the final clearance signal to TPAA control tower. Upon clearing the threashold, she flipped the switch activating the Airship PING system displaying the current location of all registered airships in the area.

"Ok miss Sinclair, I need you to bring the ship along side the Torregiano beacon." said the Examiner.

Looking through the port hole above her head, she adjusted the speed on the lift engines allowing the ship to level with the beacon.

"Is that close enough?" asked Reina.

"A little too close but good enough." said the Examiner as he scribbled on his notepad.

"Now, I will give you a list of coordinates to reach in a set amount of time for each one. You will explain each one of your actions before reaching the objective. Do you understand?" said the Examiner.

Reina took a moment before responding.

"Yes, I understand."

The Examiner began with his first set of coordinates.
