A missive in the times answered

Maya had made her way inside the busy Casino bar. Over crowded  and nosiy places made her want to retch, they dragged down her  soul like a scratching in the heart, it was something she detested, yet  here was the place she had agreed to meet the person applying for  the task of research assistant, recovering the names of the members  of the Radiant heart was her top priority, her repulsion for her  location would have to wait in the background, for now.

He arrived and waved to her. Maya must commend the editor or the  westbridge times,  he passed on the description she had left  brilliantly, almost too brilliantly, maybe she'll keep an eye on the  editor also. "greetings" he said to her.

"Well met, you must be the gentleman the editor mentioned,  responding about the job?" she extended her thin hand to him and  gave his own a firm shake. "Please join me" extending her hand  outward gesturing to a nearby space at the end of the bar, Maya sits  down, waiting for him to join her, when he does she continues.

"As you are likely aware, there will be some questions of course, to  see your suitability for the task, Do you oppose such a notion?" Shaking his head the elven man responded "Not at all, I  understand, please, ask your questions"

"We shall start with your name, and any renowned titles you may  carry within any governments?"
"My name is Vladimar" he answered "I have no titles, and am  affiliated with no governments, I'm my own man".

After a series of questions at which Maya listened to every answer  intently, she revealed the payment to which Vladimar offered a big  grin and said "Now your talking my speed, What's the job?"

Maya pondered for a moment, she had looked at the man closely, he  wore nothing to indicate if his words spoke truth, and she knew  nothing of the man to take him at face value, so grinning at him she  smiled before saying quietly "We're getting ahead of ourselves  Vladimar, the trial task first". After detailing to him what that  would be, he assured her he could find the necromancer in question,  he had her name after all, Xalyn De'lial.

After a few more words on how to approach her if he found the  necromancer, Maya stood, inclined her head in a parting of dismissal  and a shimmery space of air swallowed him up, and Vladimar  dissapeared. "Good luck Tracker, The Realms will thank you" Maya threw  back her head and cackled like an insane woman.
