Rain started falling, first lightly and then quite heavily. Serenity stopped in front of the entrance hall to the Order and then knocked upon the door. She was greeted by a dwarf with black flaming hair. She could not believe her eyes as she saw black flames surrounding this person's body. She smiled tentatively at the dwarf and said "I have something I wish to bring to the attention of the Order of the Radiant Heart. I witnessed a man murder a woman without hesitation or reason. It was quite clear that evil had long seeped the soul of this man." The dwarf nodded at Serenity and said "Come in. Some of the others are sitting by the fire. By the way, my name is Psycho." Serenity nodded and said "It's a pleasure to meet you Psycho. My name is..." "Serenity. Serenity Kaze." said Psycho. "We know of you because of the message you placed with us a few weeks ago." "Good" thought Serenity "I was able to gain their attention and show them that my intentions are true and pure."
As Serenity entered into the clan hall, she curiously glanced around...hoping that she was setting her eyes on a place she would be able to be a part of. But for now, there were greater matters at hand. Psycho and Serenity entered a room, with a fireplace that held a warm, toasty fire. Standing beside the fire was a tall bald man, with blue eyes and a pointy beard. He turned his head toward Serenity and Psycho. He smiled and said "What do we have here?" A blonde elf was sitting beside the fire. He glanced at Serenity and then glanced back at the fire. Psycho said "She says that there is something she needs to bring to our attention. Something quite important." The elf sitting beside the fire nodded and turned again to Serenity. "My name is Crovax. Please tell me your urgent news." Serenity nodded and told the Order of what she witnessed.
The faces of the Order grew somber, but there was a sense of eagerness. "An eagerness to dispose of this evil" thought Serenity. When Serenity finished her story, Psycho said "Well it seems that we must find this man at once. Draven",he turned to face the man standing beside the fireplace, "I don't suppose you've heard news of this man Serenity described to us?" Draven glanced at Serenity and back at Psycho "Unfortunately not." Crovax stood and said "Earlier today, while I was at Phil's Bar, I heard about this man, distinguished because of his scar underneath his jaw line. I overheard someone say that they saw him renting a room at the Healing Wound Inn." Draven turned to Crovax and said "Well then. Can we go tonight?" Crovax smiled at Draven and nodded "We go tonight. The sooner we rid the realms of this evil, the sooner the world can be free to prosper once again." Psycho turned to Serenity and grinned "I don't suppose you have time for a late night...shall we say...stroll?"

A Beautiful Day
It was a beautiful day. The skies were gray and Serenity could feel that rain was coming to the city of Westbridge. Serenity loved blue skies, but just as much as she loved blue skies, she appreciated the days when the world was filled with gray. It gave her a sense of calm and tranquility. Serenity stopped in front of a building and walked in. Tom's Bakery had to be one of her favorite places in Westbridge. The smell of bread baking and the sweet smell of Danish's filled her lungs. She took a deep breath and smiled at the baker. "Beautiful day, isn't it Tom?" Tom wiped some flour on to his apron and nodded at Serenity. "Sure it is kid. What'll it be today?" Serenity smiled and said "Whatever just came out of the oven is fine with me." Serenity left the bakery and started walking toward her new home.
She took a big breath of air and then a big bite of her freshly baked cinnamon roll and let the warmth fill her. "Delicious" she thought. "Today will be a wonderful day." She smiled to herself and continued on home. Serenity took the last bite of her cinnamon roll and took a deep breath, breathing in the lovely scent of flowers. Then there was a blood curdling scream that made Serenity's heart skip a beat.
Running towards the scream, she bounded around the corner and into an alleyway. There stood a figure wearing a hat and a dark coat towering over a woman in a red dress. The figure averted their eyes from the woman and glanced at Serenity with disgust and then slit the woman's throat with one swift motion. The figure ran around the corner, revealing a deep scar underneath his jaw line and a silver bracelet peeking from just underneath the coat. Serenity ran after him, but to her surprise, there was no one to be seen on the street. She ran back to the dead woman, who now lay bleeding in the alleyway. Serenity closed the mystery woman's eyes with her fingers and prayed to the gods and goddesses to watch over this woman as she ascended into the heavens. Serenity stood. She had to avenge this woman's murder and find out about the man who stole this woman's life. Justice will be served and the evil of this world will be removed, one way or another. Serenity started running towards the first place that came to her mind when she thought of justice, good and fighters against chaos and evil. She ran to The Order of the Radiant Heart.

The Test - Part Deux
Maneuvering the ship was easier than expected. She'd spent all of her flight hours with little to no assistance in terms of yaw, pitch and roll controls. The same also applied to throttle control where it was harder to raise and reduce speed. This ship had a nervous touch to the throttle but everything else was calibrated and assisted.
Placing the ship leveled with one of the main gates, she awaited final authorization to leave the hangar. The makou gas signal light went from red to green thus opening the gate. As they were three quarters open, she gently pushed the throttle lever forward exiting the hangar. With enough clearance on her starboard and port sides, she sent out the final clearance signal to TPAA control tower. Upon clearing the threashold, she flipped the switch activating the Airship PING system displaying the current location of all registered airships in the area.
"Ok miss Sinclair, I need you to bring the ship along side the Torregiano beacon." said the Examiner.
Looking through the port hole above her head, she adjusted the speed on the lift engines allowing the ship to level with the beacon.
"Is that close enough?" asked Reina.
"A little too close but good enough." said the Examiner as he scribbled on his notepad.
"Now, I will give you a list of coordinates to reach in a set amount of time for each one. You will explain each one of your actions before reaching the objective. Do you understand?" said the Examiner.
Reina took a moment before responding.
"Yes, I understand."
The Examiner began with his first set of coordinates.

No Breadcrumbs
It was the next day – or at least Sanria thought it was – truly, it
could have been any day in any of the spans of time, forward or
backward, for perpetuity. She sat in the Jacuzzi once more, watching
the bubbles come from the jets as the healer worked on her shoulder
muscles – lifting her arm, tsking, and examining. She was lost in the
multitudinous thoughts until the knock at the door. A simple sound and
she was back in folded dimensions, blurred just like the bubbles of her
bath. Her next recollection was laying on the floor while Throm
harangued the healer.
Sanria’s mind slogged ahead – faces popping up to be replaced with others, all while she sat right in the same place. It was as though time had absolutely no purpose, meaning, reason, or order, and it sped with violent force in her head. Through this fragmented mess, Sanria managed to tell Throm what she could of finding Visha in the cavern. When the questions turned to the location of the rift, however, Sanria shut down. So long as she didn’t talk, Throm would never know. He would never be lost. He would never be hurt.

So long as she didn’t talk, Throm would never know. He would never be lost. He would never be hurt.
Bathing on the Bastion
She couldn’t escape. All of Sanria’s limbs had withered while in
stasis – her legs and arms were so thin they could scarce support her
weight, and even that was dangerously low. “Please… make it stop… Make
it stop!” In her mind, flashes of Visha’s ship combined with flashes of
her own ship and flicked back in time to flashes of her own ship. None
of it made any sense – only that this certainly had to mean danger.
Throm carried her into his ship amidst her protests. She tried to chant herself into believing it would all be alright – but it was barely working. Panic sat at the edges of her mind, toying with the threads of her sanity. Amidst Throm’s questioning – his face became mixed with so many from her past. She couldn’t keep any of it straight… he was Throm, then Tarran, then Colin, then Visha, then Thasmudyan, then Havok, then Sandorin…
“What is this dimension of which you speak?” Throm and his voice cut into her mind’s dissimulation.
“No. No. I won't tell you. I won't have anyone go there. I won't. You'll die. If you don't have Colin... or Visha...” And it was true, without a guide, Throm would be as good as lost.
They both argued until Sanria could take no more. There was no further discussion as Throm led Sanria to the bathing hall and the healer on the ship. Throm excused himself as Sanria dropped her robes to the floor. She had no shame, no cares of how she might appear. In the water she watched the turbulent bubbles as the healer looked her over in absolute silence. In her mind, Sanria was here, then in the Illuminati clan Jacuzzi, then home in her tub, then here again…

All in a days fun
Imitidoras walked slowly down the street, seemingly without a care in the world. Indeed, he stopped at various merchant carts and browsed wares, smiled at passerbys and made polite conversation to those who approached him. How he loved the calm before the storm.
He couldnt stop giggling at the thought of what these stupid cattle would be doing in only an hours time.
He slowly turned the corner at a large intersection and there before him lay his target. The Westbridge Pre-School for Exceptional Children. Ah, he thought, if this doesnt get the Filthy Hearts out en masse then I dont know what will.
He continued to giggle as he walked slowly through the front door, barring it from the inside. Moments later the tormented screams of staff and children alike rang out through the early morning like music to the ears of the deranged, psychopathic, and maniacal.
Within minutes, to any who were observant, blood could be seen seeping out from under the front door...

War?
"If war, then war." Arien said angrily and started slipping off her silky clothes. She ran through her house to the locker room, opened the old wooden chest, grabbed all her old combat clothes and dropped them on the floor. Piece by piece she reequipped. All the pieces still fit her muscular body perfectly, as if no time had passed. She had retired, but she still had continued training. Her combat skills were just as good as they used to be and that made her feel confident enough.
Her old equipment was on now, she drew the sword and took in her combat position. Swinging her heavy black sword through the air, she ralized her feet were still bare naked. She bend over and took her old muddy boots out of the chest. Placing those on the floor, she took a pair of socks from the drawer. A minute later, she was ready.
Now only the shield was missing, it was hanging on the wall, a beautiful shield with the blessing of Avlad. She gently touched it. The shield as if became alive, and start levitating in front of her.
