Current Character Description - Nerlith Perditio

Before you stand a tall man. He's dressed in black dragonscale armor which is clearly enchanted as the scales seem to float around him. On his hand he bears the mark of Sephiroth. On his back a single bump is visible, mostly conceiled by his armor. His strongly featured face wears a scar no known weapon could create

Nerlith's Open Application (Part 2)

The void shimmered as it guided me through images of past, present and future. Showing a renewed purpose for my urge to destroy and pave the way for RagnaRok, allowing Lord Sephiroth to merge with the lifestream and rise to ultimate power.

At this time I realised I had been summoned by Jenova. Her tight grasp capturing my mind and memories and exchanging them with Her own. There was no void around me as I had suspected, the void grew from within me as She showed me the dawn of  a new day and the dusk that would follow soon after.

As I embraced my new future I returned to my new body,  transformed by the essence  of Jenova herself, reborn as a soldier of Sephiroth,  now waiting to do His bidding.

Followers of Sephiroth, I seek admission into your ranks.  Together we shall fulfill our destiny and raise  Sephiroth and the Black Church to the divine and almighty.

Nerlith Perditio.

Nerlith's Open Application (Part 1)

Dawn is imminent. As birds begin their daily routine with their serenade to the rising sun, the first rays of sunlight slowly progress west and illuminate Market Square in Westbridge, reflecting and scattering in drops of morning dew. The entire square blinks brightly in this early light, except for a large object sitting in the middle of the large fountain, leaning against it's sculptures.

Upon second glance, the object seems to be a tablet made of black granite, the front side polished, bearing an inscription across its entire length. The entire text seems to be written in an ancient language known to few.

Hail, Followers of Sephiroth.

I am Nerlith Perditio.  Former Stormlord of Talos, Bringer of the Rok. You have proven yourselves to be hard to reach, however I am sure this will bring me to your attention.

For years I have been trapped on another plane. As lord Talos betrayed and abandoned those faithful to him and the Jihad faction shattered, I spent my days in the void as  I felt the world as I once knew it being taken over by the Black Church. It felt as if I was there the day that Strega infiltrated  the Illuminati  and changed the balance of the old clans forever.

It was through her eyes that Sephiroth made me see the truth.  While I thought that I had been serving Lord Talos  and saught for Destruction by the bringing of  the Rok in the Jihad faction,  it turned out I had always served Sephiroth instead.

a New Carpet

It were an early morning in the month of Eleint.Dark clouds were covering the Realms, and a giant Stormsummoned by the Stormlord Talos sent down its Lightningtorturing the lands of the Great Realms. It was that very same morning when Malar appeared to me, telling me what was going on. "Members of the Church of Nightmares have insulted the Lord of Storms! he said." Make them pay! And bring me proof!" He then disapeared in a pile of crawling maggots finding their way out of the room. I quickly assembled a team of strong Talosians, And we left our sacred Church to securely demolish every nightmare and leave them dead. But, of course, all of them fled into a hidden room in their church. So we went after them. After slaying the guards of their halls, which proved to be fairly easy, we entered their almost abandonned Church and stole some equipment from their personal shops. Somewhere deep within the disgusting church which seemed to be totally abandoned by any god, we heard them yell at us. We were, according to them, losers and we were weak and so on. After Kelin, Yota and I got up again from rolling over the floor laughing at them, e went to explore their hall since we were sure those wimpy nightmares wouldnt dare to come out of their hidden room. As i gave my fellow Destructors a grand tour through the abandonned clanhall, we found hidden passage leading to some sort of maze. Within a few moments we left the maze on the other side. We entered a room with in it a small chest. As i tried to pick the lock I suddenly realised the key of the clandoors might just fit in. And yes, I unlocked the chest and opened it. As we were all very curious what this big treasure were, we were kind of disappointed when all we found was a dirty flag. The CoN logo was drawn on both sides of the silk flag. But we needed to bring proof, so this would do, we thought. Back at the Shrine of Talos again I asked for an audience with Lord Malar again. As the maggots crawled back in the room and slowly shaped back into the shape of our Lord, I showed him the flag, on which he said: "Good, Good, We needed a new Carpet at our shrine anyway. Silk is good to wipe your feet clean on," as he grinned and continued: "Thats the only thing members of CoN are good for anyways." Malar spread the flag over the floor and wiped his feet on it. Then he disappeared again in the same way he came. And now we still have The CoN clan Flag lying like trash on the floor, as a new carpet. Reminding us of the damned wimpy members of the Church of Nightmares.

Jihad - The Call Part 2

"As soon as I noticed the evil intentions Ao had, I decided I couldn't let him just go ahead. I tried to defeat him and with that restore and maintain the Balance of good and evil in the Great Realms. But as you are about to see now, I lost." Ao lifted his arms and a enormous lightningbolt of unknown power shaped above his head. With a powerful swing, Ao tossed it towards the Apprentice. The Explosion that followed up was of such power, it made everything tremble and took my sight on the situation for several minutes. After a few minutes I regained my sight and saw the Apprentice floating uncontrolled above the Realms. With his last remaining life-force he lifted himself and managed to cast a very powerful spell on RaGnaRoK; A white bolt was being thrown in our direction, rapidly enclosing. And it hit RaGnaRoK, the meteorite obtained a white glow for a little while. "With my last bit of strength in me I casted a very powerful spell on RaGnaRoK" the Apprentice said. "Within the RoK I live on since if it will ever hit the Great Realms, I will be revived. Therefore the prophecy must be executed. RaGnaRoK must fall!" "But that would destroy the entire Realms! That would destroy me as well!" I said. "No it won't" the Apprentice said. "When RaGnaRoK falls, I will be revived. I will then recreate the realms and restore the Balance. And the ones who are faithful to me will be Reborn. But therefore when I am revived, I will have to defeat Ao first once and for all." I was very amazed and he continued: "Ao has sent RaGnaRoK several times already to make me revive and defeat me. All his actions failed since RaGnaRoK was stopped by powerful factions like the Tripower Empire. What Ao doesn't know is that I am gonna kill him instead.""So RaGnaRoK is gonna fall, you are gonna defeat Ao, but what has that got to do with me?" I asked. "There are a lot of people who know how to avoid the RoK from hitting the Realms. The powerful cannon named Stalin's Organ has already been built to destroy RaGnaRoK time after time. I need faithful followers to help me. Opponents of the RoK should be eliminated in order for the RoK to fall. They should either be convinced to join in my battle against Ao, or be killed if they tend to defend the Realms from the fall of RaGnaRoK. You, Warrior, and a select few others, I need you to lead my forcer and ensure my return! The evil Ao must be destroyed since he is a great danger to all existence. Are you prepared to accept this most holy task? Let all the unbelievers be convinced and slay all the sinners who are past redemption?" Without a single moment of doubt I agreed and said: "You showed me Ao should be slain. I believe what you said, The ones who oppose RaGnaRoK will be slain by my mighty blades. I will form an army and I will make sure the Prophecy will occur!" " Good," said the Apprentice, "Now give me your swords." As I handed my blades over to him, the Apprentice uttered some words. As I wielded them again I felt a new refreshing power flow through my veins. " Now they have been forged with the power of the Apprentice," the Apprentice said. And as he uttered some words again, I felt a fierce pain in my wrists. When the pain went away, I found my fists heavily armoured and my hands very powerful. "That is all I can do for you in my current state," the Apprentice said. Before I were able to thank him for my enhanced strength and power, everything turned black again. A few moments later, I woke up in the very crowded Healing Wound Inn, with as only reminder of my midnight trip, A strong faith in my new found God, two powerful blades, and these awesome pieces of wrist-armor. With only one sole goal: Form an army and eliminate all that can prevent the RoK from falling. the Apprentice will return!!

Jihad - The Call

It were late in the evening as I arrived at the Healing Wound Inn in Westbridge, after a rough day. I fell down in the Jacuzzi, and tired as hell I almost immediately fell asleep. It was then when I heard a voice. I opened my eyes and saw a bright light. My eyes, which just got used to the dark, were blinded by it for a while. And then I heard the voice again, this time more clear: "Come to me, warrior, for I must show you something." I rubbed my eyes again and again, and slowly my vision returned. Slowly, the shape of a large man appeared before my eyes. On first sight he looked quite ordinary, but as I examined him more closely, I noticed he wasn't standing on the ground. He was floating about one meter above the Jacuzzi, and a bright shining aura surrounded him. Wondering why nothing made a sound in the always crowded Inn, I looked around, and noticed there was nobody but me and the strange man. Curious as I were, I walked towards him to obtain a better look at his face. His eyes were shining with a bright light, piercing through me as if he was reading what I thought. I shuddered a little as I realised what a powerful man was standing in front of me, as he spoke to me again: " Give me a hand if you want me to show you." " Show me what?" was I gonna ask, but something forced me to lift my arm and give him a hand. Suddenly, everything turned black. Now it were just me and him floating in some sort of dark void. Nothing to see but him and me. " Who are you?" I asked. On which he answered: " You shall know me as the Apprentice." As sudden as it all became dark, we were floating above the Great Realms. On such an altitude I could see Westbridge and New Thalos in one view. The man who called himself the Apprentice lifted his arm as he pointed towards a point in the distance. "Do you see that man?" he asked, and I stared far in the distance to see anything. And there I saw him, a young man. But as I stared and stared to recognise him, I saw a second man as well. "Who is it?" I asked, "And who is the other man I see there?""The young man is me, a long time ago." said the Apprentice. "The other man is Ao, my former master and teacher when I created the Great Realms." "You created the Great Realms?", I said with unbelief in my voice. "You've still got a lot to learn Warrior," the Apprentice spoke. "Ao is an elder god with enormous power." As I poked myself to be sure I were awake, we suddenly were not floating in a void anymore. We were standing on a huge Rock. " This", said the Apprentice as I looked around me, "This is what you are calling RaGnaRoK." I gasped as I noticed where I was standing on, and the Apprentice continued: "RaGnaRoK doesn't come from nowhere nor without reason. I created it to be send at and destroy, All beings, all life, everything in the Great Realms if times would come in which evil would overrun good." "Evil overrun good?" I asked, "Why are you showing me this?" "Be patient warrior, be patient.", the Apprentice said, as he nodded in the direction of the two men in the distance who clearly were fighting. They were so far away from us that I could barely see them with my farsight, But I could feel their power all the way overhere. Huge blasts of tremendous power took our sight over and over again. Each time their power seemed to be greater and greater. "What the hell are they doing?" I asked, "Do they intend to blow up the entire Realms?"
