Current Character Description - Firehawk

Before you is an extreme rarity. A draconian, 11 and a half feet tall with dark, draconic wings. It swishes its long tail and brassy scales glint in the light. He wears a breastplate, worn from years of combat as well as breeches and large wicked-looking claws over his hands. He walks barefoot, not needing shoes to protect his taloned feet. As you  see, you notice a strange disfigurement of scales near his eye. It is a long scar, running from the above of his elongated forehead, to the base of his jaw. You notice other scars now too, an irregular pattern over his body.  What could have done this to the creature before you? Upon his back is a huge greatsword, hawk feathers strung on the hilt.

Part 2

Maya and Sheena both trying to fend off Firehawk and his axe and Eleni with her dagger and stake. Both trying to protect one another. But another entered into the fray. While pinned down by Firehawk, Maya watched in horror as Eleni and the stranger pound a stake into Sheena's heart. Maya tried to heal the wounds, but before she got to Sheena.. A blade came down, severing Sheena's head from her body. Both Maya and Keres screamed at the same time. "Nooooooo!" "MOTHER!!!!!" The undead stood there.. stunned. As the mortals spoke amongst each other. They had decided to burn Sheena with fire or sunlight. Lead by Eleni they chose sunlight. The sun enveloped the area and the undead moved away as they watched the body and head disolve into ash. A single plume of black smoke lifted from the ashes and surrounded Maya and then Keres. Disappearing into Keres. The soul of Sheena was graping onto her daughters soul. Sheena's soul speaking to Keres' "Find Maya! Quick! She will know what to do. I do not know how long I can hold on" Crying.. Keres ran to find Maya and they rushed off to a cabin. Taking days they worked hard to bring Sheena's soul back into a form.. Sheena is now once again back. And craving vengence. She hears about Maya and her force and vows to aide them. Sheena is back. And this time.. she's not playing by the rules.

(OOC: Was a ton of fun.. well until you buttheads killed me off ;) Look forward to more rp.)

The trials of Sheena

It was a new day. A new life. Sheena's daughter, Keres had been returned to her from the clutches of Samoth. She knew Trenin had a part in both her taking and release. But that did not matter now. She had Keres. All was well. She will train her in the proper ways of the kindred. Teach her how to avoid insane mortals with their sense of "righteousness". Ahh yes. Things will be joyous again. Sheena cuddled Keres and spoke gently to her in Market Square. Keres mentioned her hunger and Sheena smirked. Looking about the area she saw mortals everywhere. Her eyes flashed as she saw a gentleman by the name of Firehawk. Approaching him she asked if he may be a willing small meal for Keres. He declined and though disappointed she let it go. Reminding Keres in town we use only willing donors. Out of town.. heh they were free game to hunt. That meddling Eleni and a few of her friends took to arms at the comment. Before Sheena could grasp how dangerous the situation was. She and Keres.. the only two kindred in the area were being approached by quite a few og those annoying live flesh beings. Keres spoke into Sheena's mind "There are too many of them" Sheena nodded, biting her lip then sweeping Keres into her arms and leaping to a nearby roof to watch the holier than thous. Shouting out with her vampiric voice she called out to the other undead. Her brethren. All be damned if they would be forced away by these fleshy pests. Soon she saw Paladins and that damned dragron, Ryel stand in force with the fleshy ones. Sheena sighed and took Keres hand as she spoke out loud "Take that Eleni wench. She is weak. I will handle as many as I can. Damn them if they think they can run us out" As we entered the area.. Maya appeared beside Sheena, speaking to her mind "I felt your call. On this I am at your side" Sheena did not let the relief she felt show. Next appeared Samoth in all his rotting flesh glory. She saw Keres smile at him but this time he was there to fight beside her. not with her. Sheena knew we were still outnumbered.. but we would put up an excellent fight. Another appeared, one she had seen around a few times and he came to aide them also. "Let the battle begin" Sheena growled. Bodies flew and sword clashed. Whips cracked and screams echoed as the two factions.. undead and flesh fought bravely. That pesty dragon took Keres into his massive claw and Samother and the stranger attacked him. Fighting with vigor and malice. Maya and Sheena both rushed to aide the other when trouble arose.. But something horrible occured... to be continued...

Between Brothers [Part 2]

"Icehawk..." "What do you want, Fire?" Ice didn't turn. "I want to know where the hell you've been. People are worried." "Yeah?" Icehawk sneered, "Like who? I can't think of a single person that would." "Like me, ya damn ingrate," Firehawk frowned, "The people of Nytek are looking for you. Eleni isn't looking to happy as of late either." "Psshhh," Icehawk scoffed, "Like she cares!" Firehawk stepped forward, grabbing Icehawk by the front of his shirt and hauling him off the gunning chair. He glared down at Icehawk, snarling. "That woman cares for you! You know it! I know it! Everyone that sees you together knows!" Icehawk returned the glare. "Do they? Do you? I sure as hell don't..." His expression dropped from angry to profound sadness. The voice that spoke wasn't Ice's normal strong voice, but a horribly soft, down-trodden one. "She betrayed me, big brother..." Firehawk blinked, not understanding. "She slept with another man..." Firehawk blinked again. He was lost for words, not expecting this at all. "Sh-... She what?" "You heard me..." Icehawk's voice was still soft. Firehawk released him and looked at him, shocked. "How could she do that to you?" Firehawk was dumbfounded. "Why dont you ask her, I sure as hell dont know. I lo-... I loved her, Fire..." Icehawk collapsed into the gunnery seat and broke into tears. Tundra took the moment to step forward and rub against Ice's legs, trying to comfort his master. He looked at Firehawk, directing a message at him. /He's been like this for a week. I don't know what to do.../ Firehawk nodded at Tundra and looked at his brother. So much they had endured in their lives, yet something like this could never be softened. "Do you need me to do anything for you, little brother?" Icehawk took awhile to respond, "Just let whoever cares know Im alright. I should be back in port in another day or so." "Take all the time you need, Ice." Firehawk turned to leave. "Fire?" He stopped and looked over his shoulder. "Thanks for coming for me." "I'm your brother, it's what I'm here for..."

Between Brothers [Part 1]

*BLAM* Another hovering target fragmented under the intense firepower of the Freons rail guns. Icehawk didn't flinch, smile, or anything else, just looked for the next one. Another target was vaporized, then another. Tundra, his Displacer Beast familiar, sat behind him in the gunnery room, watching him, his expression unreadable. He knew full well what was going on, and he hated seeing Icehawk like this. /Ice, you're going to run out of ammunition soon. Dont you think its about time to stop?/ "I already told you, Tundra, I'll stop when I feel better..." /Yeah... Right.../ Tundra sighed and turned back toward the entrance, he headed down to the helm room, checking the sensors and comm crystal for anything new. Nothing was. He was bored mindless. He and Ice had spent more than a week out here in the middle of nowhere, northwest of Westbridge. Ice's grief over Eleni had drove him to pack up and ship out. For a week, Icehawk had done nothing but stare out at the horizon. Tundra had smelled the salt of tears. But in the past two days, Icehawk had been set to his railguns, eliminating target after target. He had eaten little, and Tundra was worried about him. Just then, something faint blipped on the ping screen. Tundra hopped into the chair to look at it. It wasn't as big as an airship, but it was airborne, and heading in his direction. Tundra knew what it was. A few minutes later, the large form of a draconian came into view. Tundra opened the hatch with his tentacles and waited. Firehawk alighted inside, stooping a little to fit his tall frame. "Where is he?" /Where would you think? At the guns.../ Firehawk nodded and made his way into the ship. Tundra padded softly behind him. They entered the gunnery area together and there sat Icehawk, unmoved, unblinking, and still elminating targets as fast as they launched.

Draconic Restoration Part II

The three Hawks gathered near their parents grave and Icehawk uncovered a small stone in the ground. They fored a triangle, hands outstretched to eachother palm-out. They began to chant a chant long dead to the world, a chant in a launguage long forgotten yet wholely unique. It was a chant of the Draconian Hawks. A pulse in the chant began to not only be felt in the words, but in the ground, a solid beat. The feeling grew stronger. A flicker of flame blinked in Firehawk's palm. A touch of snow began to spin around Icehawk's wrists. A crackle of electricity coursed through Thunderhawk's arms. The three chanted louder, the spell woven tight for so long began to unravel. As the ritual of restoration progressed, another voice could be heard, one so deep and unique. It spoke of the Earth and their father. Their hearts reached out for his long past. But the voice grew stronger than they had heard it before and Icehawk's eyes fluttered open at how the spell felt changed! It wasn't working! What was happening! Suddenly he felt a spasm in his back, then a tearing sensation. His hand remained outstretched as he experieced pain that which he did not expect among this ritual! Wings shot out of his back, large and draconic, and a tail spring out! Icehawk forced his eyes open and saw Firehawk experiecing his pain, agony in his eyes. But another thing was happeneing, Thunderhawk was also changing. Icehawk didn't forsee this! But as fast as the transformation has started, it was over. Icehawk wholy expected to be completely changed back to his orignal, draconic self. But the eyes of his eldest brother told him not. The three heard a voice, the same as they had heard before. "You took these forms to live safely, but you cannot return wholely to yourselves. I am sorry my children, but was has been done can not be wholy undone at your will. I-- I miss you my sons, and I wish you your desires, but you must take what you have. Be happy my sons. I love you." At these words, the three hawks collapsed. Hours later, as they awoke, they began to see what had taken place. The spell had been initiated, but was not able to be finished. The result was, as they discovered, was that Icehawk and Thunderhawk had gained a futional set of wings and tails. Strangely, they retained their human likenesses and upon closer experimentation found that by some feat of magic, the wings could retract to a much smaller size than was able to Firehawk. "Well brothers," Firehawk adressed his siblings, "What do we consider this?" Icehawk thought it over a moment and slowly replied. "I find that it was not really a failure. We have our wings and to what I can gather," ICehawk demonstrated snapping a large board as if it were nothing, "We have our strength. We simply have the cosmetic appearance of humans. This might have been a better alternative I didn't consider. Thunderhawk, I know you did not wish this, what is your take on the matter?" "My take? I came here to help you and in return I've got my stregth and my wings. I'm friggin happy and I say we not nix this and leave here." The three agreed wholy. Icehawk reached into his bag and brought out a gem-studded magical device. After hitting a few buttons, a medium-sized airship appeared right above them. Thunderhawk grumbled about how he had to walk when they could have flown here in that. Icehawk smiled benevolently and boarded his ship with his brothers as they took off into the sunset...

Draconic Restoration Part I

It was cold, and Thunderhawk was bitching. But Icehawk could care less about the cold and cared even smaller for his brother's whining. They had traveled for days to reach this area and no amount of complaining would stop Icehawk from what he wanted-- his wings. To his brothers he had briefly explained his desire but not to both at the same time. Neither Firehawk nor Thunderhawk new the other was coming. But all three brothers were neccessary for the ritual, and Icehawk would have no arguement. They arrived at a clearing in the woods where two stones were standing in the ground. A large scorch mark and the ruins of a burnt building dominated the clearing. In the middle of it all stood Firehawk, staring down at the graves, his large wings seemed to droop as his scaly form wept at the memories of long past. Icehawk suddenly realized Thunderhawk had sneaked off without his knowledge. "Greetings, brother!" Icehawk called out. "Greetings to you too, Ice. Let us do our business and leave. I-" Firehawk choked a moment on his words then regained his composure. "I... I wish to not have to revisit this past too often." Icehawk nodded at this and continued toward the graves. "One thing, brother? How are we to do this?" Firehawk asked. "Simple. We reverse what we put in place." Icehawk answered. "Doesn't that take... well..." Firehawk's eyes narrowed at the thought and he suddenly was very aware at the silence of the creatures in the area. A dark shape shot out of the woods, glinting steel, straight at Firehawk. The large draconian dodged the strike and knocked his youngest sibling to the ground and put his foot on him. "I knew it! It has to involve him!" Firehawk glared down at Thuderhawk. "Yeah and what if it does!? He's still our brother!" Icehawk spat back. "And when were you planning to tell me he was coming?" Thunder growled up at Icehawk. "You had this all planned didn't you!" Icehawk merely nodded. "Well we're here, and we know what must be done." Firehawk looked at his two long-human brothers. "I tell you I will be hapy to be a family again." Icehawk looked back. "You have no idea..."
