As the group gathered closer to Mask he spoke
'I do not have much time on this plane of existence'
'I will be able answer only three questions about the temple.'
The group that had gathered around, namely Belldandy, Inigo, Psycho and Order Knights Xzar and Raistlin. The group quickly decided that they would devise the questions together and attempt to answer some of their most difficult questions. Of all the questions that they could ask it would be difficult to boil it down to only three, but the group was quick to decide on a few.
When the group had decided the first question it was Psycho who spoke for the group.
'Okay I believe we have come to some consensus'
'Before I ask the questions I want to say Thank you for hearing our prayers.'
'The time is nearing and you are all growing wearing of the circles. I hope to bring back the hope.'
'We appreciate the help and are dedicated to freeing you from your prison and breaking the spell plague.'
'Our first question is regarding the Book of Shade Magic.'
'How do we reach the person that can translate the book?'
Mask chuckled at the question before he spoke again
'A great question, but I'm sure the answer is not what you want.'

Vodka Tonic (Part 7)
"That's it? For the whole ship?" Vodka stared at the massive airship in front of her. It was large enough to carry her small ship and a full crew with ease.
"Lady, you get this piece of junk off my lot so I can buy 6 rentals in it's place, it's all yours." The Goblin handed her the paperwork to buy the airship and she signed it.
"I'll take it, and your guys will load what I've bought here." Vodka dropped a sack of coins in the goblins hand and he whistled for his crew to start working. They loaded the crates of parts and magical devices she had bought with Xzar. The city had crews for hire for the airships and she hired one and they got the ship ready to go back to her castle. It wasn't Xzars idea that had got her so interested in the devices, it was what could be done with that kind of power. Could it be weaved into magical flows or would it fall short of expectations?
With a gigantic groan and an ungodly noise the ship lifted off the ground. The massive anchors holding it to the ground were lifted up and she could see rust on the chains. They'd have to be replaced but not this flight. Climbing the hatch to her Hammerhead she switched on the controls and sped after the ship.
It was a long journey back to Zozo with this ship that barely moved full of cargo. Night fell and they lowered into Westbridge for fuel and supplies. With both ships stored away in the hangars, she saw a lively bar built as part of the docks. Music and laughter could be heard and she walked slowly toward the open doors that let in the breeze.
As she entered the room there were more than a few glances cast her way. There were other elves and many of the other patrons were wearing armor. It was the fangs that poked out of he lips that they stared at and some of the more twitchy patrons pawed their weapons. She called over the bartender and ordered a glass of wine. The red wine would allow her to pour in a vial of blood and enjoy the drink without more stares. Walking over to a chair in the corner, she sat casually at a table after placing her long sword against the back of the chair so it was easily reached.
It was some time before anyone came up to her beside a few drunkards looking to lay an elf. Quick insults and a show of her teeth drove these fools away. There was a cloaked stranger that asked if they could sit with her though. This man had a drink that was almost black and didn't have any weapons she could see.
"It's rare to a Lich in a crowded room with such control, but then again, you're not a normal Lich are you?" The man took her by suprise with such knowledge. He drank the beer so that his cloak barely showed his chin. "Haven't hunted your kind in a while... But we'll get to that."
Her hand cooly slid from the back of the chair to the hilt of her sword. Vodka grinned at him flashing her fangs, "And here I was worried I'd be bored and drinking alone tonight."

Vodka Tonic (Part 6)
"The rune in the middle is a dead give away." She pointed it and the bugs eyes widened and feelers perked up. "It's the word of power the monks use. It's strange someone would use it though. It's as if someone was trying to read one of the monks minds. But why go through all that trouble when a simple charm spell on the monk or an insect would be enough to know what they were up to. "
"It's a curiosity! I've got a use in mind for the stone though, if you want to travel with me while I collect some more items I would be happy of such learned company. And then I would let you have the item if it was still worth anything to you." The wizard bartered with the old man for a few moments then turned back to her after purchasing the items.
"Should be an enjoyable evening then. A pleasure to meet you, I am called Vodka." She courtseyed thinking better than to shake the insects claws. "Mmmhmmm, Yes, I am Xzar Firefly, at your service." The bug made agreeable clicking noises and they both ventured off into other parts of the city.
Hours passed as Xzar shopped, it was his first trip to the city and he was enthralled with not only what he could purchase but also on the "Amaza-Za-Zing" deals. The two conversed about a variety of subjects and after a few local drinks shared stories of their homelands. Xzar had been back to his much more recently than Vodka had, but it was hard to say no to 3, 000 brothers and sisters at his families hive. Sharing the tale of her Tonic he was intrigued by such power.
"But even with such power, it must have been terrifying to essentially take your own life and lock it away within yourself!" It seemed everything was a learning experience for him.
"It was, but knowing it had been done once before at least made it a bit easier." She shrugged trying not to think of the hours before that she had sat in her Lab crying about what might happen if things went wrong.
They again shopped, now more freely and with the commeraderie of friends making jokes as they discovered new shops and intriguing items. At an odd shop filled with boxes of strange items, Xzar literally crawled inside one of the crates and thre objects out of it much to the shopekeepers dismay. It was only later and after a few more local drinks that Xzar entrusted her with why he was gathering these items.
"I'm serious! I know there's a way to gain more power, physical or otherwise through the enhancement of armor beyond the obvious temper imbues and magical enchantments." He nodded looking almost hurt that she had laughed at him.
"They've tried that for centuries, the only ones to even get close were the Vectorians and they had to slaughter espers by the dozens to do it and even then they only achieved it within such constructs that they were unsustainable." She leaned in close so that no one could here her next words. "If this happens to be true, it's dangerous. There's no telling how it could amplify spells and enchants! " "Exactly," His grin was almost mischievious. "There's so much more to this kind of power than we could even conceive! Imagine how we could help people! Imagine the evil we could drive from this world."
"It could change everything or destroy it. Balance in this kind of magic was never abundant." She thought deeply and ordered another drink. Could there be more power that her new form was seeking? This wasn't the end, it was for sure a new begining.
